Tuition and Fee Schedule for the 2026-2027 Academic Year at Burlingame Music School.
Monthly Tuition (Piano Lessons)
Fees are due at the first lesson of each month.
Tuition varies based on the number of lessons available in a given calendar month:.
Annual Registration Fee: $120
This fee covers administrative costs and room reservations.
Certificate of Merit (MTAC)
We highly encourage participation in the MTAC Certificate of Merit program.
Registration is open from September 1 to September 30.
- Fee: $160 per student.
- Includes: Level evaluation, syllabus repertoire selection, technique and theory guidance, practice tests, video recording approval, and assessment review.
Additional Fees
- Recital Fee: $50 per student (Applicable for Winter and Spring recitals)
- Late Fee: $35 (Applied if payment is not received by the first lesson of the month).
School Policy
Your tuition reserves a weekly time slot exclusively for the student.
- Absences: No credit is given for missed lessons except in cases of protracted illness or family emergency.
- Makeups: A makeup credit may be issued if the school is notified at least 48 hours in advance. No-shows or late cancellations will be charged.
- Discontinuation: To stop billing, the school must be notified at least two weeks prior to discontinuing lessons.
